Expansion Plans For Welsh Skin Clinic

The Welsh Skin Clinic introduced new technologies before expanding further.

Pure Perfection, based in Rosette near Wrexham and Chester, has made a "significant investment" in CO2 laser equipment and treatments, which will be shown at a presentation on Thursday 15 June.

The company is one of the few companies in the UK to offer the Secret Pro Skin Rejuvenation Device, which has carried out special thread lifts and Morpheus8 treatments during lockdown.

Owner Sarah Cheney said the revamped site has increased its customer base, including a patient portal and online e-commerce. This led to further training and coaching in the UK as a brand ambassador for HydraFacial, Morpheus 8 and Zo Skin Health.

As NHS dermatology waiting lists grow, it is looking to meet the demand by hiring more staff and investing in technology.

"That's why we continue to improve and grow with the introduction of revolutionary CO2 dermabrasion devices and medical facials for red veins," said Senni.

“We have also invested in other medical equipment to combat pigmentation, rosacea, skin warts, blemishes, scars and more, and we intend to raise the bar for ourselves and the industry.

"A specialist vascular surgery service is now in place and we have other plans in the coming months."

Cheney said the proliferation of unlicensed and untrained people performing non-surgical cosmetic procedures made her determined to continue her practice and career. He has big plans for the next few months.

"As a leading clinic in the industry, we always strive to be at the forefront of technological advancements, giving patients the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their health and safety is our top priority," said Seeney.

“With unlicensed beauty clinics and untrained people appearing all the time, it's vital that people do their homework and know exactly what they're paying for.

"They should choose a clinic that is registered with the Welsh Health Inspection or Quality Commission and run by a healthcare professional."

He added: "We often have new patients come into the clinic for simple procedures such as botox, chemical peels, lasers, dermal fillers, after visiting the person who 'spoiled' them, they have to fix everything."

"Our commitment to our patients and everyone who walks through our door in need of help is stronger than ever, and given the cost of living, it's important that we support each other and do so," he said.
