Minden Kaling celebrates her birthday and thanks her two kids for keeping her sane these days.
On her birthday on June 24, the former Minden Project star shared a photo of her two children packing and playing on Instagram, writing that she was the "healthiest person I've been in years."
"Look, I know I'm materialistic, but the best birthday presents I've ever gotten are these two boys," she wrote. “I have never been a 'baby' person. But when my mother died, it clicked for me: I wanted children with such strong convictions. I'm sure some of you can understand that."
In the sweet caption, she also revealed how her children - Catherine, 5, and Spencer, 2 - encourage her to "stay healthy".
"Now I'm trying to be there for them (hard! I can't wait!), ready for anything (hard again, I'm not picky!) and stay healthy for these two boys (very picky! eat steak for dinner in front of the TV) because the old gray skeleton until they say "mom, you have to go".
