1. Body massage with lemon juice

Instructions:

  • In a bowl, mix sugar and juice of one lemon. Blend until well blended.
  • Gradually add your chosen carrier oil to the mixture. The oil cleanses the skin and makes it easier to apply the cleanser. Mix well.
  • Your body scrub with sugar and lemon juice is ready to use. Make sure your body is damp in the shower or bath before applying it to your skin.
  • Take a handful of the paste and gently rub it into your skin in a circular motion. Focus on areas that need exfoliation such as elbows, knees and rough spots.
  • Keep rubbing the mud into your body for a few minutes.
  • Rinse off the cleanser with warm water and dry your skin with a towel. Apply a moisturizer to nourish your skin.

Note: Lemon juice may be slightly acidic. So if you have sensitive skin or open wounds or sores, avoid using this scrub or do a patch test first to see if it causes irritation.

2. Body massage with coffee and honey

Resources:

- 1 cup ground coffee (preferably freshly ground)

- 1/2 cup granulated sugar or sea salt (for extra exfoliation, optional)

- 1/4 cup coconut or olive oil

- 2-3 tablespoons of honey

- Optional: a few drops of an essential oil of your choice for fragrance (such as lavender or vanilla)

Instructions:

  • Mix coffee grounds and sugar or sea salt in a bowl. Sugar or salt will add more exfoliation to your skin.
  • Add coconut or olive oil and honey to the mixture. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
  • If you prefer a scented cleanser, add a few drops of an essential oil of your choice to the mixture and mix well.
  • Rinse your skin with water when you shower or bathe.
  • Take a handful of coffee honey scrub and gently massage your skin in circular motions to exfoliate the coffee grounds and absorb the honey.
  • Rinse well with warm water.
  • Dry your skin and use a moisturizer if necessary.

Remember to do a patch test before using a cleanser, especially if you have sensitive skin or are allergic to any of the ingredients.

  • Add coconut or olive oil to the mixture and mix well.

  • Rinse your skin with warm water in the bath or shower before using the cleanser.
  • Take a handful of oatmeal and gently rub it into your skin in a circular motion.
  • Rinse the dirt well with water.
  • Dry your skin and use a moisturizer if necessary.
