Western Ocean City - Outcomes and Relationships.
Owner Shannon Foley, CRNP, says it's something patients can expect at an aesthetic treatment facility.
"People feel comfortable coming here and spending time with us," he said. "And they know what we're doing is in their best interest."
In December, the Institute of Aesthetic Medicine (IAM) opened in a new location on Stevens Highway in Decatur. Foley, who offers services ranging from laser therapy and Botox treatments to clinical skin care and weight loss, says her practice takes a holistic approach to beauty and wellness.
"It's a very comprehensive, very personalized treatment plan." "It's also a very results-oriented team approach."
Foley is no stranger to practicing beauty therapy. With over 20 years of experience, Foley has worked as a field trainer and clinical instructor for two leading cosmetic companies and is one of the top Botox injectors in Delaware. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees and works as a professional nurse in adult gerontology.
"This is one of the best hotels in the area," said Hadley Leishman, IAM patient concierge "That's why people like to come here."
Foley IAM offers a unique approach to aesthetic medicine. Although some institutions specialize in certain types of treatment, practices offer many services. Practice leader Kerry Bergman added that IAM focuses on educating patients and providing treatment plans for better outcomes and faster recovery times.
"They get a skin prep protocol going into the service and there's a lot of follow-up to make sure Shannon really gets the best care and sees the best possible results," she says.
But Foley explains that IAM's business is driven not only by results, but also by relationships. IAM officials said it is not uncommon for patients to come for treatment and a chat.
"They get used to us and we talk and we talk about the kids and stuff," Bergman said. "It's really about creating a family atmosphere."
Foley said her practice serves clients of all ages, from teenagers to grandparents and everyone in between. Services include Botox and dermal fillers; laser resurfacing and laser hair removal; microneedling; Red and blue light therapy; personal medical skin care regimen; Medical weight loss: blood pressure chemical shell diamond glow; Moreover.
"I really listen to our patients and try to give them the services they need," Foley said.
Foley said IAM is Allergan's diamond-level label and includes brands such as Zoo Skin Health, Jane Iredell and EltaMD. The practice also hosts private on-site and off-site parties as well as collaborative events with local businesses.
"We love being online and interacting with our community," he said.
The Beauty Clinic is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm. Evening meetings are also available upon request.
"Obviously, IAM's vision is to have healthy, beautiful skin at any age," Foley said.
