Watch: Coleen Nolan gives update on her cancer diagnosis
What are you missing?
Coleen Nolan has provided an update on her health after revealing she has been diagnosed with skin cancer.
The "Loose Women" host spoke about her diagnosis last year, explaining that she had cancer in her shoulder and premelanoma on her face. Speaking on the ITV show, he said he was diagnosed after checking for red spots on his skin.
Nolan updated his fans by saying that he makes sure to use high-factor sunscreen every day, no matter the weather.
What, how and why?
During a discussion about sunscreen, she opened up to ITV's Lorraine after presenter Lorraine Kelly asked her: "Coleen, I know you're a little scared... More than a little scared, aren't you?" “Are you someone who frequently uses sunlight?” church.
"Obviously in the '70s, when I was a kid, they didn't do that," Nolan responded. "Your mother sent you to kindergarten, you played and got burned."
The TV star, who is about to embark on a solo tour, said his cancer was gone. “After the tour I had to deal with melanoma,” he said.
"But yeah, it's a big fear," Nolan said. “And now I won't leave the house without SPF 50, not even during the day, not even in the snow, in the rain.”
The Nolans have had cancer before
Nolan and her famous siblings later found fame in The Nolan Sisters, the family singing group that became The Nolans. The family has faced cancer several times over the years.
In 2013, Sister Bernie (52) died after battling cancer, and Sister Linda (64) is currently battling brain cancer. The singer was diagnosed with stage two breast cancer in 2017 after battling the disease in 2005 and told Good Morning Britain viewers last year that the disease had spread to her brain.
Another sister, Anne, twice battled cancer, although there was cause for celebration in 2022, when the 72-year-old was reportedly in remission.
