Sean McVay was speechless in describing the Rams' endless injuries, especially on the offensive line. We've gotten to the point where it's almost unbelievable how many players have started nine different sets in their first nine games and made it into the lead.

They will also go 10 out of 10 when they meet the Saints on Sunday.

On Friday, McVay suspended Brian Allen and David Edwards for 11 weeks. Allen underwent surgery for a swollen thumb and knee, while Edwards struggled to recover from an injury. The Rams are especially vulnerable on the line after Chandler Brewer and Alaric Jackson were placed on injured reserve this week.

They currently have six healthy male players on their 53-player roster. With five of them starting, being active on match days is clearly not enough.

The six healthy men are Tai Nsiki, Coleman Shelton, Bobby Evans, Uday Aboshi, Matt Skora and Rob Havestein. The question now is how the Rams will land five of the six players.

What we do know is that Nsekhe will start at left tackle and Havenstein at right tackle. Evans and Aboishi can guard either position, while Shilton and Skoura have experience at center and defense.

Possible lines of attack are:

LT: Don't know

LG: Shelton

the point

RG: Abashi

RT Havestein

At the very least, it appears to be a five-starter combination of the week, with Evans benched as the point guard and backup tackler. Chilton and Sakura are also interchangeable, but the best spot for Aboshi is at right guard.

After deciding who will start, the Rams must decide which players can come off the practice squad -- since there is no layoff, they will play with just six active players on Sunday. Max Pircher still needs a lot of time to develop in the NFL's international athletic program, so he probably won't be called up. Jeremiah Colon can play guard and center, while AJ Arcuri is a traditional tackler.

It's safe to assume that both Colon and Arcuri will be upgraded, giving the Rams eight healthy men. It's far from ideal, but they won't be able to find a better option in free agency at this point, and the trade deadline has passed.
