However, eating a healthy diet that includes plenty of nutritious foods will improve your skin's health from the inside out. Also known as the queen of herbs, holy basil has soothing and natural properties that make it the perfect ingredient to keep your skin healthy and glowing. It helps rejuvenate the skin, tightens pores, removes skin impurities and prevents skin allergies and infections. Try adding tulsi leaves to your diet as a tea or chew them daily.
Turmeric has been used for centuries to treat a variety of ailments, including skin ailments. Turmeric is good because it has anti-inflammatory and anti-inflammatory properties for the skin. These ingredients help purify the blood and reduce acne, scarring, pigmentation and inflammation. Consider adding it as a spice when cooking, or better yet, drinking turmeric milk at night.
