Giannis Antetokounmpo spent his entire career with the Milwaukee Bucks, but is known for his actions as an NBA player today. Antetokounmpo may have performed well in 2021, which is what many expected two years ago, but that doesn't mean he plans to spend his entire career at Wisconsin. In fact, after winning the 2021 championship with the Bucks, Antetokounmpo hinted that he would be open to something else in his career.

"One of the goals was to get the championship here, and we did," he told GQ in November 2021. - It was very difficult, but we succeeded. Very, very difficult. I just love the challenge. What is the next task? The next test may not be here."

"My family and I decided to stay in this city that we all love and care about for the time being," Antitecumbo said. "In two years, that can change."

Well, it's been almost two years and the Antecum Bucks have the best record in the NBA and have as good a chance to win the title this year as any other team. He remains tied to the Bucks thanks to the five-year Super-max contract he signed in 2020, but can become a free agent after 2025 if he chooses. Fortunately for Bucks fans, he doesn't seem eager to look for a new challenge. Friday morning on CBS, Antetokounmpo said he was perfectly happy with the Bucks: "As long as I'm healthy and as long as they want me to be in the Milwaukee Bucks organization, I'd like to be there. I'm staying."

Antetokounbo is as healthy as ever and the Bucks aren't going to get rid of him anytime soon, so their partnership should last for the time being. Technically, Antetokounmpo and the Bucks could renew their commitment to each other during the offseason, as he would be eligible for a Super-max contract extension. While nothing is known about his intentions yet, it's hard to imagine that the Bucks wouldn't at least offer him such an extension.

Antetokounmpo is 28 years old. He is probably the best basketball player in the world and is currently playing for the best basketball team in the world. He has no clear reason to consider leaving Milwaukee, and at the moment it seems the idea hasn't crossed his mind.
